2010 - 2011 Preschool Handbook
Elementary
For the first through sixth grades, each grade has its own scope and sequence of learning. The subjects are presented from a strong Christian perspective in a traditional classroom setting. Therefore, sound fundamentals are presented in Bible, Math, Science, History, English, and much more. Each year builds on the next to be a solid college preparatory curriculum.
Jr/Sr High
For the seventh through twelfth grades, instruction is presented in the A Beka DVD format. Each class has a Master Degreed teacher from Pensacola Christian College. The teachers are presenting material in a classroom at Pensacola Christian Academy and are filmed with the DVD student clearly a part of the class. A proctor teacher of SCBA will maintain class decorum and monitor student activity in the classroom to insure a quality education in every subject. Enrollment in these classes is somewhat restricted to insure success and maintain high Christian ideals set forth by the pastor and administration.
